چکیده مقاله
Tick-borne zoonotic diseases pose a significant threat to public health in Iran and other parts of the world. These diseases, transmitted to humans through the bites of infected ticks, involve pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, and protozoa. The prevalence and impact of these diseases in Iran are influenced by various factors, including ecological, environmental, and socio-economic dynamics. Understanding the epidemiology and distribution of these diseases is crucial for developing effective management and prevention strategies. Recent studies have highlighted the prevalence and distribution of tick-borne zoonotic diseases in Iran. These studies have analyzed the epidemiology of these diseases, revealing regional variations. Additionally, the role and distribution of different tick species in Iran have been examined. Governmental and international organizations, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization, provide valuable resources for disease surveillance and control. Recent research has emphasized the socio-economic impacts of these diseases in Iran, highlighting the need for interdisciplinary approaches. Furthermore, studies have explored the genetic diversity of tick-borne pathogens and the effectiveness of prevention methods. This article synthesizes research findings and insights from organizations to provide a comprehensive overview of the prevalence of tick-borne zoonotic diseases in Iran. By gaining a better understanding of the epidemiological landscape, targeted interventions and health policies can be devised to mitigate the impact of these diseases on the Iranian population.
